What makes the cyber world dangerous is that it's so much different from the "real world". People tend to forget that they belong to the real world which is very idiotic yet popular. I was one of those people who enjoyed having the second identity. I felt like I could do anything and say anything I wanted. I regret that alot nowadays because I could have done much more important things other than pretending I'm someone else. WoW is all about having a second identity and most of people who are addicted consider themselves "the outsiders".
The games such as Guild Wars and Lord of the Rings Online are no different than WoW but WoW is the front runner of creating this illusion. Over 8 million people play the game and I think it's safe to say that more than half of those people are at least play more than 4 hours. The question here is that "what kind of fool would want to spend more time as someone else rather than being who you are?" For me, the answer is easy. Those who give up their life to spend most of their time in the cyber world. The only thing I can say at this point is................ DEATH TO WORLD OF WARCRAFT!!
